中文摘要: 随着信息通信技术的发展,通信网络的巨大能耗已成为普遍关注的热点,提高其能源效率已成为工业界和学术的共识。网络设计的冗余性和用户业务的动态性导致了网络能源利用率低下。休眠技术是提高能源利用率的有效方法。但目前国内外的相关中工作缺乏对网络中各节点休眠的整体协调性研究,没有考虑节点休眠的动态自适应特性,没有考虑用户的自主行为和重视分布式实施方式。针对这些问题,本项目从网络动态优化,用户自主节能,网络与用户博弈三个角度展开研究工作,具体包括:1)认知的在线协同休眠;2)基于用户自主行为的拓扑形成;3)用户协助的网络协同休眠机制。项目通过用户与网络的交互和协作,研究用户和网络共同参与的协同休眠机制,研究成果有助于探索新型的绿色通信网络架构和理论。

英文摘要: Along with the advance of information and communication technology, its enormous energy consumption and energy efficiency have been the consernsus of focuses in the global industry and acadeic research. Sleeping technilogy is considered as an efficient approach to improve the energy efficiency in the network, since the redundancy of network design and the dynamics of users' traffic. The state-of-the-art related research works lack of three aspects of considerations: sleeping in the network should consider all kinds of devices in the network; the sleeping operation is an adaptive and dynamic procedure; sleeping scheduling should consider user's behaviors and prefer a localized implementation. To this end, the research of this proposal is conducted via the perspectives of network optimization, user's self-motivated energy saving, and the cooperation between users and the network, includeing the following aspects: 1) cognitive online coordinated sleeping; 2) topology formation based on users' autonomous behaviors; 3) user-assisted network sleeping mechanism. The sleeping mechannism in this proposal involves the interactions and cooperations between the users and the network. It is expected that the research of this proposal will lead to the appearances of novel communication network architecture and theory.
