中文摘要: 本项目开展了新型镧系卤化物闪烁晶体LnI3: Ce3+的生长与性能研究。研究了高纯无水稀土卤化物的制备方法,制备出满足晶体生长需要的无水镧系卤化物;采用非真空密闭坩埚下降法进行Ce3+ 掺杂镧系卤化物晶体的生长,掌握了适合于稀土卤化物单晶生长的条件,获得完整透明Ce3+掺杂镧系卤化物单晶;研究了单晶材料的光谱特性和发光性能,探讨了闪烁性能与晶体缺陷、掺杂浓度相关的规律性;研究LnI3:Ce3+单晶在高能射线辐照条件下的缺陷形成及对闪烁性能的影响。本项目将为探索新型镧系稀土卤化物闪烁晶体材料提供有学术价值的研究结果,有益于推进此类闪烁晶体材料在高分辨射线探测成像领域的实际应用。

英文摘要: The growth and properties of novel Ce3+ doped lanthanon halide scintillation crystals LnI3:Ce3+ are studied in this project. To prepare anhydrous lanthanon halide with high purity for crystal growth,the preparation process of anhydrous rare-earth halide is investigated. By means of vertical Bridgman technique with the approprite conditions,the Ce3+ doped lanthanon halide scintillation crystals with desirable transparence are grown under sealed nonvacuum atmosphere. The spectral characteristics and luminescent properties of Ce3+ doped lanthanon halide scintillation crystals are investigated. The correlation between the scintillation properties and crystal defects as well as dopant concentration are examined. The project also inquires into the formation of the crystal defects originated from the high-energy irradiation as well as their effect upon the scintillation properties. The project will provide valuable results for exploring novel rare-earth halide scintillation crystal materials. The research results are helpful to realize the application of lanthanon halide crystal materials in the field of irradiation detection with high resolution.
