中文摘要: 无线多媒体传感器网络(WMSNs)具有处理任务复杂化,图像采集、处理与传输能耗呈现"均匀"分布的特点,使得能否有效解决因信息处理复杂带来的高能耗、高成本问题,延长网络的生命周期,成为WMSNs走向实用化的关键。为此,本项目首先对适用于WMSNs的低能耗新型图像压缩算法进行了深入研究,提出了快速方向提升双正交叠式变换(LBT),并给出了相应的低复杂度编码算法,基于LBT和JPEG2000设计了适合于在WMSNs两跳簇结构中多节点协同实现的图像压缩方案;然后研制了低功耗图像侦察传感器节点,构建了WMSN硬件实验平台,并基于该平台研究了JPEG2000图像压缩算法的DSP并行实现方法;最后对WMSNs多节点协同技术进行了深入研究,提出了WMSNs两跳簇结构的拓扑实现方案。本项目的研究工作为下一步建立基于WMSNs的战场环境可视化监测系统提供了基本的理论和技术支持,对加快构建我军陆、海、空、天一体化战场态势立体感知平台具有重大的现实意义和深远的战略意义。

英文摘要: Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs) has many unique characteristics, such as high computational complexity and equal energy consumption of image acquisition, computation and transmission. Because of these characteristics, solving the problem of high energy and high cost and prolonging the lifetime of WMSNs becomes the key factor in the practical process of WMSNs. Motivated by the application needs, we have concentrated our attention firstly on low energy consumption image compression algorithm for WMSNs in this program. A fast directional lifting biorthogonal lapped transform (LBT) is constructed to reduce the computation and an algorithm based on tree pruning is proposed to optimize lifting directions globally. We also propose two multi-node cooperative image compression methods based on two-hop cluster for LBT and JPEG2000. Secondly we have designed some low-power image sensor nodes to form a WMSN hardware platform and studied parallel DSP implementation methods of JPEG2000 on it. Finally we have studied multi-node cooperative WMSNs architecture and present a two-hop clustered image transmission scheme for maximizing network lifetime. The research work in this program provides fundamental theory and technique support to the establishment of the battlefield visualization system based on WMSNs, which is of great practical and strategic significance to the building of the integrated battlefield situation monitoring platform of land, sea, air, and space.
