中文摘要: 伽玛射线AGN的高能物理特性的研究是当代高能天体物理研究的前沿课题之一。近年来的观测,特别是Fermi/LAT的观测,发现了许多新的伽玛射线AGN。这些观测为理论研究提供了大量有用的信息。目前认为AGN的高能辐射主要来自喷流,而高能辐射与高能粒子的加速有关。本项目拟使用Fermi/LAT已观测到的伽玛射线AGN,结合多波段的数据,利用我们已经建立的随机粒子加速模型,开展:(1)AGN高能粒子加速过程以及高能辐射机制的仔细研究,构建更为实际的加速和辐射模型,并开展伽玛射线AGN的统计研究;(2)限制EBL模型和红移未知AGN的红移;(3)极高能宇宙线的AGN起源。由于Fermi/LAT不断地获得伽玛射线AGN的观测结果,我们将尽快地深化和发展我们的模型,并应用于伽玛射线AGN中。以上工作将加深我们对AGN的基本物理过程(特别是粒子加速问题)的定量认识。

英文摘要: The high energy characteristics of gamma-ray active galactic nuclei (AGN) are one of the most important frontiers in high energy astrophysics research. Recent observations, especially observations of Fermi/LAT, have found many new gamma-ray AGNs. These observations provide a lot of useful information for theoretical researches. It is generally accepted that the high energy radiation from AGN originates from jets. And the high energy emission is related to the particle acceleration processes. We propose to use observations of Fermi/LAT, in combination with multi-bands data, by making using of our developed the stochastic particle acceleration model to investigate: (1) particle acceleration processes and high energy emission mechanisms in AGN, more quantitative acceleration and radiation models, and the statistical characteristics of gamma-ray AGNs; (2) the EBL model and the unknown redshift of AGNs; (3) the origin of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. With more and more AGNs being observed by Fermi/LAT, we will develop our model accordingly, and apply it to gamma-ray AGN observations. The research will boost our quantitative understanding of basic physical processes (especially the problem of particle acceleration) in AGNs.
