中文摘要: 云计算环境将大量计算资源、存储资源与软件资源链接在一起,形成巨大规模的共享虚拟IT资源池,从而为科学工作流中的海量数据计算提供了广阔的平台,并给科学工作流系统的进一步发展带来良好的机遇。然而,在云计算环境中实现复杂的大规模科学工作流系统需要正确理解各种数据流控制的复杂交互、层次组合、协作模式,及相关的安全保障机制,这样使得研究者面临着更多的技术挑战。本项目将针对上述方面展开研究,拟研究云计算环境下的源信息安全管理与海量数据复制,面向数据密集型协同活动的组合机制与过程度量,和面向海量复杂工作流图数据的高效高维相似查询等技术,从而能够有效地支持云计算环境下科学工作流系统的管理与改进,为跨多类学科和跨不同地域的科研合作与实践提供方便。

英文摘要: In cloud computing environments, massive computation, storage and software resources can be put together and form a large-scale IT resource pool shared by all the persons. Thus, it provides a broad platform for the massive data computation and brings changes to the development of scientific workflow systems. However, managing massive and large-scale scientific workflow systems in cloud computing needs the users to accurately understand the interaction, hierarchy composition, collaboration models and security assurance among the different data flows and it brings technical challenges to the researchers. Focusing on these aspects, this project will make deep research on the security management for data provenance, massive data replication, composition mechanisms in data intensive collaborative applications, and efficient similarity query for massive high-dimensional workflow graph data. In this way, management and improvement in scientific workflow can be effectively supported, while the inter-discipline and cross-region scientific research collaboration can be implemented and performed.
