中文摘要: 随着网络负载的增加,由拥塞造成的传输延迟已经成为通信网络的主要故障模式。试验是确定网络及时可靠性水平的重要手段,然而网络任务周期普遍较长,可靠性试验时间更是任务周期的数倍,否则会造成样本数量少、试验结果置信度低的问题。本项目首次将产品加速寿命试验方法推广到通信网络对象,针对典型通信网排队模型揭示网络延迟故障机理,基于相似理论推导加速模型,构建通信网及时可靠性加速试验方法,并通过OPNET仿真和实验室试验平台进行模型和方法验证。通过本项目研究可建立起一套通过短时高应力试验确定网络正常应力条件下及时可靠性水平的方法,可有效解决网络可靠性试验时间过长、费用过高的问题,为科学制定网络可靠性加速试验方案,充分挖掘试验信息,给出高置信度的可靠性评估结论提供理论依据,并为形成一整套网络可靠性加速试验评估方法奠定理论基础。

英文摘要: With the rapid growth of network usage and the heavy load of its traffic, the delay caused by network congestion has become one of the core issues of network reliability, which is called network transmission time reliability. Testing is an important way to assess network transmission time reliability before a new network is built or a new service is put into use. However, the length of time for one network mission scenario is usually very long. In order to assess network transmission time reliability effectively, we often need a large amount of samples, so the reliability test time is often several times of its mission cycle. In this proposal, the accelerated life testing method is extended to communication networks for the first time. The delay failure mechanism will be revealed for typical communication network queuing models, the accelerated model will be derived based on similarity theory, the accelerated testing method will be built for network transmission time reliability, and both the accelerated model and tesing method will be verified by OPNET simulation and our testing platform. By completing this proposal, a similar network can be built to do accelerated reliability testing at a higher flow stress level instead of the original network.
