中文摘要: 物理随机数在密码学、保密通信及国家安全等领域具有重要应用。利用确定性算法可以快速产生伪随机数,但无法保证通信的绝对安全;现有物理随机数产生技术受限于电子器件带宽,实时码率难以适应现代高速通信的安全需要。. 本项目基于超连续谱随机起伏特性和宽带光谱特性,利用并行处理技术降低对器件响应速率的要求,发展一种高速、实时物理随机数产生方法。长脉冲激光泵浦色散匹配的高非线性光纤产生高重频、强度显著随机起伏的超连续谱脉冲序列,经WDM光解复用出多个不同波长的独立子序列,采用1位ADC量化技术,完成物理随机数序列的并行提取,实时速率有望达数十 Gb/s。. 本项目的实现,可有效克服器件电子瓶颈导致的实时码率不足问题,为绝对安全“一次一密”保密方案的实现提供技术支撑,促进现代高速保密通信及大规模并行计算等相关学科的发展。

英文摘要: Physical random numbers have great applications in many fields such as cryptography, secure communication and national security. Utilizing deterministic algorithms can generate fast pseudo-random numbers, but they can not ensure completely secure communications. These existing physical random number generation techniques are limited by the bandwidth of electronic elements so that their real-time bit rates are difficult to satisfy the security requirement of modern high-speed communications.. This project is based on the random fluctuation and wideband spectrum characteristics of the supercontinuum, utilizes parallel processing technique to reduce the requirement for the device with a fast response and thus develops a method for high-speed and real-time physical random number generation. Employing a long pulse light to pump a phase-matching high nonlinear fiber, we can obtain a train of supercontinuum pulse with a fixed high repetition frequency but obviously random intensities. After demultiplexing it with the WDM technique to create multi-wavelength optical sources, we can achieve the parallel extraction of physical random number sequences through the 1-bit ADC quantization and its real-time bit rate is expected to reach several dozens of Gb/s.. The achievement of our project can efficiently overcome the problem of limited real-time rate induced by the electronic bottleneck,provide technical supports for the realization of the completely secure communication, ‘one-time pad’, and promote the development of high-speed secure communications and large-scale parallel computations.
