Future ICT technologies, such as the concepts of Ambient Intelligence, Cyber-physical Systems, and Internet of Things provide a vision of the Information Society in which: a) people and physical systems are surrounded with intelligent interactive interfaces and objects, and b) environments are capable of recognising and reacting to the presence of different individuals or events in a seamless, unobtrusive, and invisible manner. The success of future ICT technologies will depend on how secure these systems are and to what extent they protect the privacy of individuals and individuals trust them.
In 2007, Workshop in Information Security Theory and Practice (WISTP) was created as a forum for bringing together researchers and practitioners in related areas and to encourage interchange and cooperation between the research community and the industrial/consumer community. Based on the growing interest of the participants, since 2015 WISTP is a conference.
The 12th WISTP International Conference on Information Security Theory and Practice (WISTP'2018) seeks original submissions from academia and industry presenting novel research on all theoretical and practical aspects of security and privacy, as well as experimental studies of fielded systems, the application of security technology, the implementation of systems, and lessons learned. We encourage submissions from other communities such as law, business, and policy that present these communities' perspectives on technological issues.

One of the goals of PACT is to improve productive interactions in a community of intellectuals in Africa in order to facilitate a research environment which stimulates and promotes multi-disciplinary exchange of ideas in and around Science, Computing and Telecommunications. The main objective of PACT is to support and stimulate active productive research which could strengthen the technical foundations of engineers and scientists in the continent, develop strong technical foundations and skills and lead to new small to medium enterprises within the African sub-continent. We also seek to encourage the emergence of functionally skilled technocrats within the continent.
We invite research papers, workshop proposals, and panel proposals on the topics listed here below. The list is not exhaustive. Tutorials and Sessions which will impact on and enhance post graduate research within the continent will be considered. Training Workshops on research software tools such as Matlab, Scilab, Althium, Genesys, COMSOL Multiphysics and others are welcome. The conference also provides a forum for students to compete for best papers and receive an award. Registration fees for student authors are also discounted.

BiRD workshop aims to provide a forum for presenting and discussing research on the recognition and understanding of behavior data collected from various sources, such as humans, animals, and automobiles, towards scientific discovery (e.g., ecology and medical science) and/or actual business applications (e.g., industry, sports, healthcare, and stockbreeding). In addition, we plan to invite biologists and neuroscientists who have collected and analyzed behavior data of various animals. While the biologists and neuroscientists have massive amounts of behavior data, they have limited knowledge on state-of-the-art behavior analysis techniques. Therefore, this workshop provides a good opportunity for the PerCom researchers to apply the developed state-of-the-art methods to actual problems.

The objective of the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Decentralized Applications and Infrastructures (DAPPCON 2019) is to facilitate the exchange between researchers and practitioners in the area of Decentralized Applications based on Distributed Ledger Technologies, Blockchain, and related technologies. It can be already seen today that Blockchain is making a huge impact on the way digital payments are made. However, the potential implications of Blockchain technologies go far beyond their application as the technological backbone for cryptocurrencies. In recent years, Decentralized Applications (dApps) have emerged as a new model for building massively scalable services.
