The International Workshop on Big Data and Information Security (IWBIS) provides an international forum that is designed to examine key critical innovations on the research of Big Data and Information Security areas. IWBIS thus invites scientists, engineers, and professionals alike to present their ideas and experiences related to Big Data and Information Security topics in the workshop.
IWBIS 2019 welcomes paper submissions on innovative work from researchers in academia, industry and government describing original research work. Papers related to this conference theme including but not limited to the following technical areas: Big Data
Data capture and storage; Big data technologies / tools / (programming/development) tools; Data visualization; Machine learning algorithms for big data; Cloud computing platforms; Distributed file systems and databases; Scalable storage systems; Large-scale knowledge graphs. Big Data management; Big Data applications and implementations; Information Security
Authentication and access control; Anonymity and privacy; Cryptographic protection; Digital forensics; Human factors in security; Multimedia security; Network and mobile security; Security management and policies; Hardware and physical security; Cryptocurrency and Blockchain; Proceedings of the earlier editions of the workshop have been indexed by the IEEEXplore and Scopus. All IWBIS 2019 accepted papers will be published by IEEE (application to IEEE currently still in progress).
The 2019 IEEE International Conference on Big Data (IEEE BigData 2019) will continue the success of the previous IEEE Big Data conferences. It will provide a leading forum for disseminating the latest results in Big Data Research, Development, and Applications.
We solicit high-quality original research papers (and significant work-in-progress papers) in any aspect of Big Data with emphasis on 5Vs (Volume, Velocity, Variety, Value and Veracity), including the Big Data challenges in scientific and engineering, social, sensor/IoT/IoE, and multimedia (audio, video, image, etc.) big data systems and applications. The conference adopts single-blind review policy. We expect to have a very high quality and exciting technical program at Los Angeles this year.

The 6th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Big Data Computing, Applications and Technologies (BDCAT 2019) aims to provide a platform for researchers from both academia and industry to present new discoveries in the broad area of big data computing and applications. The conference topics are big data science, infrastructure and platforms, applications, trends and challenges as well as visualisation of big data.
BDCAT 2019 will have a co-located 11th International Conference on Utility and Cloud Computing (UCC 2019) and a subsequent Serverless Symposium. Do not miss the opportunity for discussing a full week of cloud and big data advances in New Zealand at the end of the year!
This will be the 6th BDCAT along with the 12th UCC in a successful conference series of community-driven events. For more information, consult the conference history and the listing of previous awards given to top papers presented at the conference.

Cloud computing has firmly established itself as an indispensable utility for the digital age. Cloud services consumers expect and rely on sufficient computing power, the availability of data and media, and that these will be accessible across a range of devices.
The expectation now is that Cloud services providers are capable of maintaining streamed services that are always available. Also, social and technological challenges are met with the development and adoption of new technologies that provide a safer, more secure, and richer digital experience for users and customers. Therefore, it is essential that sound scientific principles underpinning cloud technology and its economic value to both service providers and consumers are expressed and understood.
UCC2019 is the premier IEEE/ACM conference for areas related to Cloud Computing as a Utility and provides an international forum for leading researchers and practitioners in this important and growing field.
