中文摘要: 有机激光特别是电泵有机激光一直是有机半导体研究的重要方向和器件目标。由于其理论意义与实用价值巨大同时实现的难度极高,因此一直被视为有机半导体领域的最前沿。本项目针对有机激光关键科学问题,希望发展两类有机半导体激光材料(有机晶体、有机复合晶体)和两种有机电泵激光器件结构(分布反馈激光、场效应注入激光),建立有机激光材料中高密度能量载体(激子、光子)可控调制(放大)的方法,初步揭示载流子、激子和光子在长程有序结构的有机晶态材料中的运动规律,突破三项关键技术(材料设计与制备、光子学微加工、电泵激光器件制作),力争在我国首先实现有机电泵激光的输出,做出具有国际影响力的重大贡献,显著提升我国在该领域的学术地位。

英文摘要: Organic semiconductor laser, especially the electronically pumped laser, is a long-term target in the research field of organic semiconductors, promising great breakthrough for fundamental research as well as technological applications. However, electronically pumped organic laser is still a challenging and unachieved task in the frontiers of material research, even though it has been often theoretically predicted. This proposal addresses the key issues of organic lasing, aiming to prepare two types of organic gain media (organic crystals, organic crystalline composites) and two configurations of organic electronically pumped laser (distributed feedback laser, field-effect injection laser). Specifically,the research objective of this proposal is to develop the method to control and modulate the high-density carriers (excitons, photons) inside the organic gain media, and to elucidate the behaviors of the charge carriers, excitons and photons inside organic crystalline materials. Furthermore, this proposal also aims the breakthrough of three relevant key techniques including material design and preparation, fabrication of laser cavity, and the construction of the electronically pumped laser.
