中文摘要: 可见光波段光纤脉冲激光器在生物医学、光学传感、精细加工、光谱学等领域具有重要应用。本项目以发展高性能红、绿、蓝光调Q/锁模脉冲光纤激光为动机,探索石墨烯在可见光波段的可饱和吸收特性,采用无需倍频的直接下转换方式,研究实现新型的石墨烯可见光调Q/锁模掺镨光纤脉冲激光器。主要的研究内容包括:一,研究石墨烯在可见光波段的可饱和吸收特征及其高功率运转条件下的调Q/锁模性能;提出利用两种制备光纤兼容石墨烯可饱和吸收器件的途径,以研制调制深度大、插入损耗低、损伤阈值高的可见光石墨烯调Q/锁模器;二,开展红、绿、蓝石墨烯被动调Q/锁模Pr:ZBLAN光纤脉冲激光器的理论分析、数值模拟、优化设计和实验研究,以期大幅度改进被动调Q/锁模Pr:ZBLAN光纤激光器的脉冲性能。本项目的研究不仅将深化对石墨烯光电性质及其应用的认识,还将有力促进可见光波段掺镨光纤脉冲激光器的开发应用。

英文摘要: Visible pulsed fiber lasers have various important applications, such as biomedical science, optical sensors, fine processing and spectroscopy. To develop high-performance visible Q-switched/mode-locked pulsed fiber lasers, the mechanism of down-conversion without laser frequency doubling is used, and the saturable absorption characteristics of graphene at visible region are explored; new type of Q-switched/mode-locked Pr-doped plused fiber lasers will be realized. The research contents mainly include:1) To investigate the characteristics of graphene as a saturable absorber at visible region and the performance of Q-switched and mode-locked fiber lasers with high output power. In order to fabricate the graphene with large modulation depth, low insertion loss, low damage threshold and ease of all-fiber-configuration, we propose both the chemical and physical approaches to obtain the graphene Q-switches/mode-lockers. 2) To carry out theoretical analysis, numerical modelling, optimal designing and experimental investigation in order to improve the pulse energy and the average output power of red / green / blue passively Q-switched/mode-locked Pr-doped ZBLAN fiber (PDF) lasers with graphene.
