中文摘要: 金纳米团簇是一类由单层配体保护的具有确定组成结构,尺寸一般在3 nm以下的超小粒子。由于其超小的尺寸及特殊的电子结构,金纳米团簇显示出一些传统纳米金不具备的、独特的催化性能;此外,由于金纳米团簇具有确定的组成结构,为深入的反应机理及构效关系研究提供了方便和可能。本项目以课题组发现的金属离子与金纳米团簇的Anti-Galvanic还原反应为理论基础,通过金属离子诱导来改变金纳米团簇的组成结构,从而合成新的金纳米团簇;比较改变前后金纳米团簇的催化性能;研究催化反应的机理;继而探索金纳米团簇的组成结构与催化性能之间的关联。本项目的开展将有助于理解金纳米团簇与金属离子反应的一些规律,揭示金纳米团簇的组成结构与催化性能之间的构效关系,同时也为合成优良的新型金纳米团簇以及开发金纳米团簇催化的新型化学反应提供借鉴和指导。

英文摘要: Gold nanoclusters are ultra-small particles which have defined compositions and structures. They are always less than 3 nm and protected by monolayer ligands. Owing to their ultra-small size and specific electron structure, gold nanoclusters show some special catalytic activities which are not exhibited by nanocrystals. Moreover, the defined compositions and structures of nanoclusters make it possible for in-depth investigation of catalytic mechanism and structure-property correlation. In this project, based on the Anti-Galvanic reduction of gold nanoclusters with metal ions developed by our research group, we are planning to conduct the transformation of gold nanoclusters induced by metal ions, observe the changes of catalytic properties of gold nanoclusters before and after transformation, study the catalytic mechanism and investigate the structure-property correlation of gold nanoclusters. Our research in this project will not only unravel some basic scientific issues (for instances, the reaction rules of metal ions with gold nanoclusters and structure-property correlation of gold nanoclusters), but also provide references and guidance to explore novel and high-performed gold nanoclusters, together with novel reactions which can be efficiently catalyzed by gold nanoclusters.
