中文摘要: 铁基超导是继铜氧化物之后发现的又一类高温超导材料,它为人们最终解决高温超导机理问题提供了新的契机。最近单层FeSe超导体系的发现又引起了人们极大的研究热情。单层FeSe作为铁基超导体的最小单元生长在SrTiO3之上,就可以达到近液氮温度的超导转变温度,其衬底或者说界面的作用将是决定性的。但这种作用是如何增强超导的目前仍不清楚。本项目以FeSe体系为主要研究对象,利用极低温STM和氧化物MBE,致力于探索单层FeSe体系中衬底和界面所起的作用,体系超导配对的对称性和具有高Tc的机理,以及如何优化该体系来进一步提高超导转变温度。并尝试将这种机理推广到其它材料,探索新的界面超导体系。

英文摘要: Iron based superconductors are newly discovered series of high Tc materials, which provide us great opportunities to solve the mechanism of high Tc superconductivity. Recently, single layer FeSe has been discovered to be superconducting with amazing high Tc. Single layer FeSe is the basic building block of iron-based materials, but after growing on SrTiO3 substrate, it displays a high Tc up to liquid nitrogen temperature, much higher than bulk materials (8K). This implies that the STO substrate or interface must play an essential role on the Tc enhancement, but the detailed mechanism is still unknown. This project will focus on FeSe system, by utilizing ultra low temperature STM and oxide MBE, we will try to find out how the substrate plays it's role, study the pairing symmetry/mechanism of this system, and optimize the system to seek for even higher Tc.
