中文摘要: 表面谱学的方法已经被广泛地应用于传统热催化的研究领域探究催化反应的微观机理。然而,光催化领域的研究工作还主要集中在光催化材料的合成,表征和改性等方面,而对反应微观机理的探索工作开展的仍然非常有限。在本项目中,我们将应用表面光谱和电子谱的方法研究基于ZnO和TiO2的模型催化剂,通过对表面沉积金属纳米颗粒(Cu,Ag等)以及金属负载氧化物薄膜系统的结构和电子结构表征,并研究它们对CO2光还原微观过程的影响,揭示"晶体结构-电子结构-光催化活性"的内在关联。

英文摘要: Surface science techniques have been extensively used in research field of tranditional catalysis to explore the microscopic reaction mechanism. However, the studies of photocatalysis are focusing on the synthesis, characterization and changing properties of the photocatalytic materials, while the work on their microscopic mechanism is still scarce. In this project, we will adopt surface science techniques to study several model catalysts system based on ZnO and TiO2, such as deposition of metal nanoparticles (Cu, Ag etc.) on oxide surfaces and metal-substrate-supporting oxide thin films. We will focus on the characterization of their structural, electronically structural properties and the catalytic properties towards CO2 photoreduction, and reveal the intrinsic relations of "structure-electronic structure-photocatalytic reactivity".
