中文摘要: 手持设备的迅速普及和社交需求的不断进化,带来数据流量的爆炸性增长,需要数据分流技术对过载的蜂窝链路进行数据迁移,以减少网络拥塞。机会组网数据分流借助于机会网络中设备自身的短距离无线通信来实现数据传输和共享,是一种非常有效且无额外成本的数据分流方案,代表数据分流领域的最新发展形势。本项目提出基于机会路由的数据分流及共享最优化研究,就是利用机会路由来满足蜂窝网络中具有延迟容忍性质的应用需要流量分流和消息共享这一需求,以减少蜂窝网络中的数据冗余并节省稀缺的频谱资源。具体而言,我们利用统计分析、图论以及最优化理论等技术对如下内容展开研究:节点移动模型的建立和移动模式的提取;数据分流阶段种子节点集合的最优化研究;数据共享阶段中继节点集合的最优化研究。通过这些研究,本项目旨在揭示机会路由算法对数据分流和共享性能的影响规律,设计出一套高效的数据分流协议集,以实现数据分流及共享的整体性能最优化。

英文摘要: The rapid proliferation of handheld devices, the continuing evolution for social demands and the ensuing explosive increase in data traffic need the data offloading technique to migrate the traffic from the overloaded cellular link and thus reduce the network congestion. Opportunistic networking based data offloading technique takes advantage of the short-range wireless communication equipped by the devices, of which the opportunistic network is composed, to transfer and share the data, which is a very efficient way with no extra cost incurred. Consequently, it represents the latest development trend in the data offloading field. This project is focused on the optimization of opportunistic networking based data offloading and sharing. Some opportunistic routing techniques are leveraged to meet the traffic offloading and message sharing requirement of some delay tolerant applications in cellular networks for relieving the traffic redundancy and saving the scarce spectrum resource. More specifically, we utilize some techniques, including statistical analysis, graph theory and optimization theory, etc., to make an in-depth study on the following topics: including establishment of node mobility model and extraction of node mobility pattern, the optimization research on selection of seed nodes and relay nodes for data offloading stage and data sharing stage, respectively. Through the study on this project, we aim to reveal the impact of opportunistic routing algorithms on data offloading and sharing performance, design a set of efficient data offloading protocols, to optimize the overall performance of data offloading and sharing.
