中文摘要: 随着无线网络的普及以及普适计算技术的发展,基于射频识别技术的定位服务受到了越来越多的关注。在物流管理、食品链监控、军械管理以及交通监管等领域显示出了巨大的活力。然而现有的基于射频识别技术的定位方案在使用成本、应用范围和定位精度等方面还远远达不到普适计算应用的需要,限制了其在各行各业中的广泛普及。针对传统基于射频识别技术的定位方案所存在的定位误差波动范围大;定位方案可移植性差以及定位系统实用性低等问题,本课题首先以射频信号为研究对象,探究其空间传播特征。在此基础上,提出基于射频信号传输特征的物体泛定位关键技术的研究方案。这里泛定位是指判定复杂环境下物体之间的排列顺序以及所处的区域。这类粗粒度的位置信息在仓储管理、行李分拣等领域扮演着至关重要的角色。对物体在复杂环境下所处的位置进行判定。另一方面,这类粗粒度位置信息不依赖于特定硬件设备,因此具有较强的可操作性和实用性。

英文摘要: The ubiquitous deployment of wireless networks and the development of pervasive computing have triggered enormous RFID based localization services spanning from logistics management, food chain monitoring, all the way up to ordnance management and traffic supervision. The state-of-the-art, though, resides far from satisfactory in terms of cost, applicability, and accuracy, thus impending widespread viability. To tackle these challenges, this project starts with the underlying RF signals and explores the corresponding spatial propagating characteristics. The aim is to propose a series of general object localization techniques based on the intrinsic radiation properties of RF signals. General localization, in definition, refers to determining the order of the target objects or the regions where they locate under complex environments. Albeit coarse-grained, this kind of information plays a vital role in the realms of warehouse management and baggage sorting, which sketches a primary inference of where the objects reside in complicated surroundings. Moreover, such coarse-grained location information is independent of the underlying hardware, and hence is more operable and practical.
