中文摘要: 磁电效应是一种典型的铁性多功能耦合效应,具有磁电转换功能。它在高密度存储器、多态记忆元、电场控制的磁共振装置、传感器、调制器以及微波领域、高压输电线路的电流测量等领域具有诱人的应用前景和极高的研究价值。为了得到优异的磁电性能,需要深入理解磁电效应的物理机制,建立完整的理论体系表征多场耦合下的性能指标,从而指导多相磁电复合材料的优化设计,提出崭新的材料结构设计理念,为探索新型磁电智能器件原型夯实基础。本课题的任务和目标在于通过实验和理论结合的方法建立多相磁电复合材料在多场耦合下完整的本构理论体系;提出崭新的材料设计体系,并通过结构、阵列的优化设计实现优异的磁电性能;探索磁电智能材料的原型器件,拓展其应用领域。

英文摘要: Magnetoelectric effect (ME) is the induction of magnetization by an electric field or of polarization by a magnetic field, which is a classical multifunctional coupled effect for multiferroics. It has attracted much interest in application and research areas, such as data storage and switching, magnetic resonance controlled by electric field, transducer, modulator, microwave device, current measurement for high voltage transmission line and so on. To achieve the best magnetoelectric performance, it is necessary to understand the physical mechanism of ME and establish a systematic theory to characterize the properties in coupled field. Therefore, we can give the optimum design for the mulit-phase ME composites, another concept of the material structure design, and a new suggestion of magnetoelectric smart device prototypes based on the theory. In this project, we will establish a systematic multi-field coupled constitutive theory for mulit-phase magnetoelectric composites based on the experimental and theoretical research. A new concept of the material structure design will be given as well as the optimum design of structures and arrays to obtain the best magnetoelectric performance. At last, we will design and construct some device prototypes for magnetoelectric material to extend its applications.
