中文摘要: 耗散孤子共振(DSR)是一种新型的孤子非线性现象。这种孤子在泵浦功率不断增加的情况下能够完全抵御光脉冲分裂并使得脉冲能量无限增加,在高能量激光器研制方面具有重要的应用价值。目前光纤激光器中DSR的研究都集中在标量特性方面。然而,现有的标量DSR理论不能解释所有实验现象,为此本项目将标量DSR现象的研究工作扩充到矢量特性上,更深层次揭示DSR的一般物理特性。在我们已有关于标量DSR研究的基础上,拟搭建偏振损耗无关的被动锁模光纤激光器,从理论和实验两方面系统研究矢量DSR脉冲的产生机理及特性。明确激光腔内各关键参数对矢量DSR特性的影响;区分矢量DSR脉冲与标量DSR、普通矢量孤子的异同点;通过优化设计激光腔,获得群速度锁定、偏振锁定、偏振旋转等类型矢量DSR脉冲。本项目的开展,不仅能加深对DSR脉冲产生机理和动力学特性的理解,丰富矢量孤子的研究,而且对光纤激光技术的发展具有重要意义。

英文摘要: Dissipative soliton resonance (DSR)is a new nonlinear phenomenon.This kind of pulse can circumvent wave-breaking and increase the pulse energy infinitely as the pump power increases, which has important applications in high energy lasers. The present investigations focus on the scalar DSR in fiber lasers. However,the current theory of scalar DSR can not explain all of the experimental phenomena,therefore this project extends the investigation of scalar DSR to vector DSR for deeperly discovering the general characteristics of DSR.Based on our study of scalar DSR,we will construct passively mode-locked fiber lasers without polarization-dependent loss in cavity to research the mechanism and characteristics of vector DSR pulses theoretically and experimentally,finding out the influence of key cavity parameters on the features of vector DSR,distinguishing the similarities and differences between vector DSR and scalar DSR,conventional vector solitons. Through optimizing the cavity designing,we plan to obtain group velocity locked vector DSR pulses, polarization-locked vector DSR pulses and polarization rotation vector DSR pulses etc.The investigation of this project will not only deepen the understanding of the generation mechanism and dynamics of DSR pulses,enrich the study of vector soltions,but also has importance
