中文摘要: 量子顺电体钛酸锶具有奇异的电学和光学等特性,广泛应用于通信、数字存储等领域。最近的研究发现应力以及少量元素掺杂可以在钛酸锶材料中诱导出有意思的新现象和新性能,将钛酸锶的应用延伸至多态存储等更广阔的应用领域。因此本项目拟以钛酸锶为研究对象,系统研究过渡金属掺杂对钛酸锶的多铁性能的诱导。通过铁电、磁性、介电和磁电耦合等宏观性能的测量,结合SPM微观畴结构的观察,研究钛酸锶系列材料中过渡金属掺杂与多铁性关联的物理规律,澄清磁电耦合效应的物理机制。

英文摘要: Quantum paraelectric SrTiO3 has many strange properties,such as electric and optics, which are widely used in communication, digital storage, etc. Recently many studies found that stress and a few elements doping in materials can induce new interesting phenomena and performance, which will extend the application of SrTiO3 to wider application fields including multiple-state storage. So SrTiO3 will be as the research object in this project. We are going to study the influence of transition metal doping on SrTiO3 multiferroic performances. Through the measurement of ferroelectricity, magnetism, dielectricity and magnetoelectricity coupling combined with the observation of microscopic domain structure by SPM, we will study the physical laws related with the multiferroic properties of SrTiO3 based materials, and thus looking for the mechanism of magnetoelectricity coupling effect.
