中文摘要: 单链磁体(SCMs)在高密度信息存储,分子器件和量子计算机等方面具有诱人的潜在应用前景。传统的合成方法局限于以单个顺磁金属中心和自由基作为构筑基元,磁阻塞温度(TB)难以提高。本项目计划利用高自旋金属簇作为构筑基块来构筑高TB单链磁体,通过化学自组装方法设计合成以簇为结构基元的新型一维磁性化合物。培养目标化合物单晶体,测定其晶体结构和磁性质,研究其与母体簇之间的磁性差异,探索影响其磁性行为的内在因素,揭示其磁性结构的关系,并尝试通过结构修饰来调控此一维体系的磁性能,以期能够获得具有高TB的单链磁体,为合成性能卓越的低维磁体奠定一定的实验和理论基础。

英文摘要: Single chain magnets (SCMs) exhibit attractive potential application prospects in high-density information storage, molecular devices and quantum computers, etc. The traditional synthesis methods were limited to employ the single paramagnetic metal centers and the radicals as the building blocks,in which the blocking temperature (TB) is difficult to increase.in this project, novel cluster-based 1-D magnetic complexes will be designed and synthesized by chemical self-assembly method using high spin clusters as the building blocks, in order to obtain high TB SCMs.Prepare the single crystals of the object complexes, measure the crystal structure and magnetic properties,investigate the magnetic differences between them and their mother clusters, explore the inherent factors that affect the magnetic behaviors, reveal magneto-structural correlation and attempt to adjust the magnetic properties of the 1-D systems by the structural modification for the purpose of obtaining SCMs with high TB and provide critical experimental and theoretical basis for synthesizing low dimensional magnets with excellent properties.
