中文摘要: 为了彻底解决当前互联网络暴露的弊端,近年来研究界的主流研究思路之一是建立"以信息为中心"的未来互联网,即信息中心网络(ICN:Information Centric Network)。网络级内嵌式缓存是ICN特有的功能,该功能对提高网络性能有显著作用。充分发挥ICN的网络级内嵌式缓存的利用效率和减小缓存配置代价是本项目追求的目标。为此,本项目针对ICN的固有特点,重点研究网络级内嵌式缓存构架、缓存配置方法和缓存管理方法。主要研究内容包括:根据ICN缓存节点缓存容量小、分布广的特点,研究适用于ICN的网络级内嵌式缓存构架;综合考虑网络流量与缓存配置间的相互影响关系,研究能公平地优化缓存配置代价和网络流量负载的缓存配置方法;针对ICN数据流量大、缓存业务类型多和新的内容获取方式,研究高效的缓存管理方法。

英文摘要: In order to solve the inherent shortcomings of nowadays Internet from root, one of the common views of the Internet research community is to construct "information Centric" based next generation Internet architecture, namely Information Centric Network (ICN). One of the promising features of ICN is network wide in-network caching, which can improve the network performance significantly. The goal of this project is to explore the potential utilization efficiency of the network wide in-network caching and reduce the deployment cost of network wide in-network cache in ICN. This project focuses on the network wide in-network caching architecture, cache deployment methods and cache management methods of ICN. The main research problems are as follows.First of all, In ICN, the cache capacity of a cache node is small, and the cache nodes are widely deployed in the network. According to this characteristic of ICN, we investigate the network wide in-network caching architecture, which is suitable for ICN. Secondly,by taking the relationship between traffic volume and cache deployment cost into consideration, we investigate the deloyment methods that can fairly optimize cache deployment cost and netwrok traffic load.
