中文摘要: 纳米Au催化剂是当今催化领域的研究热点与前沿,关于Au活性物种的本质以及活性位点的解析尚未取得统一认识。近年来,从单原子到1nm范围内,亚纳米尺度Au团簇的催化行为引起人们的密切关注,有望对Au催化作用本质的理解提供重要新信息。在本项目中,我们将通过对亚纳米尺度下Au团簇的尺寸和形态以及载体氧化物暴露纳米级规整晶面的调控,以CO催化氧化或WGS反应为模型反应,系统研究负载型Au团簇的尺寸和形态效应;建立金-载体界面结构与催化性能间的构效关系;在此基础上,综合分析金的粒径、形态以及金-载体界面结构这些因素对催化活性的贡献,尝试揭示纳米Au活性本质、解析催化活性位点的结构以及相关催化反应的机理。这些问题的探索,不仅有助于金催化理论的完善,同时也可为实用催化材料的设计合成提供理论支持。

英文摘要: Catalysis by gold has become a hot topic in heterogeneous catalysis.However, the origin of the reactivity of gold nanoparticles and nature of the active sites have been extensively debated in the literatures.During the last several years, the catalytic behaviour of Au clusters,from single atoms to 1 nm particles, has drawn more and more attention.Studies on the supported gold cluster catalysts would provide novel and important information for understanding the nature of gold catalysis. In this project,a series of supported gold cluster catalysts will be fabricated by employing metal oxide nanocrystals with well defined facets as support materials and their catalytic properties for CO oxidation and water-gas shift reaction will be investigated.After controled adjustiong the size and morphology of the supported Au clusters and the Au-support interfaces, the size and morphology effects of gold clusters in subnanometer scale will be investigated.At the same time, the relationship between the interfacial structure of the Au-support and catalytic performances will be studied. Based on the obtained informations on the size and morpholgy effects and the role of the interfaces, the origin of the reactivity of gold and the nature of the active species will be analyzed.
