中文摘要: 本项目从螺旋聚合物和手性催化等挑战性基础科学问题和前沿研究入手,围绕新型手性聚合物催化剂的设计制备和不对称催化等核心问题,旨在开拓螺旋聚合物应用新领域, 发展新型手性聚合物催化剂体系. 通过模拟生物酶大分子的螺旋结构, 设计制备侧链含催化功能基团的取代炔类光学活性螺旋聚合物,继而制备由螺旋聚合物构筑的手性微/纳粒子和手性磁性粒子; 将螺旋聚合物及其手性粒子作为催化剂, 分别均相、非均相催化不对称有机反应;前期研究表明,主链螺旋结构和侧基功能基团间存在协同催化效应. 该项目除直接获得一类新型手性高分子催化剂(包括手性粒子)及建立相关的制备方法外,还将揭示大分子螺旋结构与其催化功能间的内在联系,探索不对称催化过程中手性传递、手性诱导、纳米效应等基本科学规律;以粒子形式催化不对称反应,符合绿色化学概念,将实现催化剂的简便回收再利用,为手性功能材料的发展及手性聚合物催化剂的实际应用奠定科学基础.

英文摘要: This project is intended to design and develop novel chirally helical polymers and further to use them as chiral catalyst to catalyze asymmetric reactions. The study will extend the practical applications of artificially helical polymers, and provide a unique class of chiral catalysts. Stimulated by the beautiful helical structures in bioenzymes, we will design and synthesize helical substituted polyacetylenes containing pendent functional groups being able to catalyze asymmetric reactions. Based on these optically active helical polymers, novel chiral micro- and nanoparticles and chiral magnetic particles will be further prepared. Next, both the helical polymers and the chiral particles will be used as chiral catalyst for performing asymmetric reactions. The project will: (1) create an effective methodology for preparing optically active helical polymers and chiral particles thereof (chiral micro- and nanoparticles, chiral magnetic micro- and nanoparticles); (2) reveal the essential roles played by the helical polymer backbones in the asymmetric catalysis; (3) investigate chiral transfer, chiral induction, nano-scale effect, etc. in the course of chiral catalysis; (4) develop a novel class of chirally helical polymer-based catalyst which can be easily recovered and efficiently recycled.
