中文摘要: 量子点形状、尺寸、带边结构以及原子层数是影响零维石墨烯量子点能带结构的四个几何参量。本课题从微观角度运用相对论的量子力学,由狄拉克方程出发建立石墨烯量子点狄拉克费米子系统的三阶非线性光学理论,获得不同几何参量下石墨烯量子点材料三倍频、简并四波混频以及光克尔效应等三阶非线性光学效应的极化率,探索上述四个几何参量对石墨烯量子点材料三阶非线性光学效应的影响,并进行相关测试以验证理论模型的正确性。本课题是非线性光学理论与新材料的有机结合,不仅将会完善狄拉克费米子系统三阶非线性光学效应的理论研究,同时也会为石墨烯量子点材料在光电器件的制作与应用提供理论参考。

英文摘要: There are four geometric parameters which can strongly affect the band structure of graphene quantum dots:shape, size, edge state(armchair or zigzag)and the number of layer.This project plans to establish the theory of third order nonlinear optics for Dirac fermions in graphene quantum dots employing the relativistic quantum mechanics, starting from the Dirac equation.Then we can obtain the parameters-dependent properties on the third order nonlinear optical susceptibilities for the optical effects of third harmonic generation(THG), degenrate four waves mixing(DFWM)and optical kerr(OK). And we explore how the four geometric parameters affect the third order nonlinear optical effects in graphene quantum dots. Also, our theory will be verified by the experiments. This project is the combination of nonlinear optics theories and new nanomaterials, which will not only improve the theory of third order nonlinear optics for Dirac fermions, but also provide ones with instructions of engineering the graphene quantum dots for desired optoelectronic device production and applications.
