中文摘要: 基于量子点的中间带太阳能电池是近年来光伏领域的一个研究热点。仅有一个中间带的中间带太阳能电池的理论值就可以高达63%,是实现高效率太阳能电池比较有前景的手段之一。本项目的目标是通过设计和制备新的量子点材料和新结构,以期解决目前量子点太阳能电池子带吸收较弱等难以实现高效率中间带太阳能电池的部分问题。本课题将通过应用分子束外延生长研究开发实现高效率量子点中间带太阳能电池的可行性。本研究有望利用新的量子点结构和新的太阳能电池结构,在高效太阳能电池方面取得突破。

英文摘要: Quantum dot based intermediate band solar cells have attracted a lot of attention in the field of photovoltaics for the last few years. Power conversion efficiency as high as 63% can be achieved by only using one intermediate band. The objective of this project is to develop a new type of quantum structure and employ new materials for hihg efficiency intermediate band solar cells. The project is aiming to solve the current quantum dot solar cell issues, such as low absorption of the sub-bands, of current quantum dot solar cells, which largely undermine the performance of intermediate band solar cells. Thi is project is proposed to using molecular beam epitaxy to explore the opportunities of realizing high efficiency intermediate band solar cells. The project will pave the way for development of the third generation high efficiency intermediate band solar cells by employing novel quantum structures and new materials.
