IEEE新增282位Fellow，华人占比29%，中科院三位、清华、北大各两位入选

今日，2020年IEEE Fellow入选名单公布，共有 282位学者入选，其中 83 位华人学者（占总人数的29%），来自中国大陆地区的学者共有32位。恭喜他们！

来自清华大学电子工程系的杨华中教授，自动化系的高飞飞副教授成功入选！

此外，新增名单中也有不少大家熟知的业界大佬，比如京东AI负责人周伯文、滴滴AI负责人叶杰平，香港科技大学教授、前腾讯AI实验室负责人张潼……

截止2019年，IEEE Fellow共有5521位。

昨日在小脉预测名单中也有八位学者入选。再次恭喜各位新Fellow！

国际电气和电子工程师协会（IEEE）是国际性的电子技术与信息科学工程师的学会。IEEE Fellow为学会最高等级会员，是IEEE授予成员的最高荣誉，每年由IEEE同行专家在拥有高级（senior）或终身（life）等级的会员中评选，当选人数不超过IEEE当年会员总人数的1‰。由于每年当选的IEEE Fellow数量较少，因此当选的科学家基本都是在科学与工程技术领域内取得重要成就的杰出科学家。

地区分布

本届新增IEEE Fellow中，共有149位来自北美洲（其中135位来自美国，14 位来自加拿大），69位来自亚洲及太平洋地区，62位来自欧洲，拉丁美洲只有 2人，而非洲则没有入选人员。      

从上图中，我们可以看出在美国本土内，西部地区聚集的电气和电子工程的优秀人才更为充沛，相对来说，东部和西南部则略弱一些。作为对比，亚洲及太平洋地区的入选人数与欧洲相当且略多。如果从南北半球来看，则新增IEEE Fellow绝大部分来自于北半球；从南半球来看，共有 6 位来自澳大利亚（见下面国家分析），2位来自巴西，1位来自阿尔及利亚（北非）。 

国家及地区分析

我们统计了来自不同国家及地区的新增 Fellow 人数，其中美国 135 人，其次是中国 37 人（大陆地区 23人，台湾地区 7 人，香港地区 6 人，澳门地区 1 人）。  从图中可以看出，除美国外，电气、电子工程的优秀人才主要集中在中、加、英、德、韩、日、意等国家。 

中国地区分布

为了便于我们了解IEEE Fellow在中国地区的分布，我们统计了不同城市或地区的数据，如下图所示：

从中我们可以看出，大多数电子、电气优秀人才还是集中在北京地区；而台湾和香港也有着不错的人才汇聚；其他地区新增IEEE Fellow则相对比较分散和随机。   

华人分布

本届入选华人有 79 位，来自全球各地。其中大多数是在美华人，约32位，其次是来自大陆地区（23位）、台湾地区（7位）、香港地区（7位）。由于IEEE 2020 新增 Fellow中华人并「不太多」，入选学者在各单位分布相对比较零散，没有出现扎堆现象。

中科院有三位学者入选，清华、北大、北交大、华中科大都各有两位学者入选，微软亚洲研究院也有两位学者入选。以下是部分入选学者名单及提名词（部分英文为未确认） 。

大陆地区学者：

张兵-中科院遥感与数字地球研究所

for contributions to hyperspectral image acquisition and processing 

中科院二级研究员，杰青。1991年本科毕业于北京大学。2003年在中国科学院遥感应用研究所获得理学博士。

赵冬斌-中科院自动化所

for contributions to adaptive dynamic programming and reinforcement learning 

中国科学院自动化研究所研究员、博导，本硕博均毕业于哈尔滨工业大学。

蒋田仔-中科院自动化所

for contributions to neuroimaging techniques

中科院自动化研究所研究员、博导，本科毕业于兰州大学，博士毕业于浙江大学数学系。国家杰出青年基金获得者。

杨华中-清华大学

for low-power circuit techniques for sensor applications and design automation 

清华大学电子工程系教授，教育部长江特聘教授，先后获得过国家杰出青年基金、国务院特殊津贴等荣誉。

高飞飞-清华大学

for contributions to channel estimation and signal processing for wireless communications 

清华大学自动化系副教授，本科毕业于西安交通大学，博士毕业于新加坡国立大学。

胡振江-北京大学计算机科学技术系

for contributions to robust software development

北京大学计算机科学技术系系主任。本硕毕业于上海交通大学，博士毕业于东京大学。

陈宝权-北京大学

for contributions to spatial data visualization 

北京大学长聘教授，前沿计算研究中心执行主任，长江特聘教授。获电子工程学士（91年西安电子科技大学）、硕士（94年清华大学），和计算机科学博士（99年纽约州立大学石溪分校）。

杨天若-华中科技大学

for contributions to modeling and design for cyber-physical-social systems

毕业于清华大学计算机系，加拿大维多利亚大学获计算机科学博士学位，加拿大工程院院士。

曾志刚-华中科技大学

for contributions to analysis and synthesis of neurodynamic systems  

华中科技大学教授，国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，教育部长江学者特聘教授，图像信息处理与智能控制教育部重点实验室主任。2003年博士毕业于华中科技大学。
