Big data and Intelligent computing also attract increasing attention from researchers to study rich data-related and data-driven problems. Big Data is transforming science, engineering, medicine, healthcare, finance, business, and ultimately our society itself.

The Distributed and Parallel Databases Journal invites submissions for a special issue on “Big Data and Intelligent Computing” that aims to attract papers that cover the state-of-the-art research in relation to big data.
