This conference is  sponsored by Science and Engineering Institute and co-sponsored by at Guangdong University of Technology. It aims to bring together researchers, developers, and users in both industry and academia in the world for sharing state-of-art results, for exploring new areas of research and development, and to discuss emerging issues on Design, Manufacturing and Automation.

It is our pleasure to welcome all participants to the 2018 The 5th International Conference on Manufacturing and Industrial Technologies (ICMIT 2018) will be held on May 18-21, 2018 at HeFei University of Technology, Hefei, China. ICMIT 2018 is the 5th year of the conference, since its inception in 2014.

The purpose of ICMIT 2018, following the footsteps of the previous editions, is to promote activities in various areas of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology by providing a forum for exchange of ideas, presentation of technical achievements and discussion of future directions. The ICMIT brings together an international community of experts to discuss the state-of-the-art, new research results, perspectives of future developments, and innovative applications relevant to intelligent and computer control systems, robotics, 3D printing, factory communications and automation, flexible manufacturing, data acquisition and signal processing, vision systems, and power electronics, and other related areas.

Manufacturing and Industrial Technologies 2018 is a four days networking conference  with a wide variety of plenary and interactive sessions, inspiring keynote speakers, case studies, eye-opening site visits and numerous opportunities to get in contact with new business partners. It will be held in conjunction with ICMRA 2018, providing great opportunity for ICMIT participants to meet researchers in other related fields as well.

ICMIT 2018 conference full papers will be published by IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (ISSN: 1757-899X), which is indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec,et al.
