2022 IEEE fellow 重磅出炉:王海峰、山世光、童行行等31位中国计算机科学家入选

刚刚,2022 年国际电气和电子工程师协会(IEEE)新增会士(Fellow)完整名单公布。新增名单中共有 265 位学者入选,其中中国学者有 31 位。


AI 领域的多位知名华人学者入选,包括汪玉、郑冶枫、李飞飞、山世光、申恒涛、童行行、王海峰、谢幸、杨睿刚、王井东、赵国英、韩军伟、Shih-chii Liu、Guojun Qi、田永鸿、李青、曹明、王冬梅、冯俊兰等。


对比来看,2020 年共有 282 位学者入选,其中华人学者超过 70 人,2019 年和 2020 年为 90 余人和 80 余人。


IEEE全称,美国电子电气工程师学会(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers),是国际性的电子技术与信息科学工程师的学会,于 1963 年 1 月 1 日开设。其推出的 IEEE Fellow(IEEE会士)为学会最高等级会员,也是 IEEE 授予成员的最高荣誉,每年由 IEEE 同行专家在拥有高级(senior)或终身(life)等级的会员中评选,当选人需要对工程科学技术的进步或应用做出重大贡献,为社会带来重大价值。


由于每年当选的 IEEE Fellow 数量较少,因此当选的科学家基本都是在科学与工程技术领域内取得重要成就的杰出科学家。因此,该头衔也是学术界和科技界公认的权威荣誉和重要职业成就。近年来,华人科学家逐渐成为 IEEE Fellow 中的主力人群之一。
