中文摘要: 带电粒子辐射聚合物材料产生的电离或/和位移效应会首先诱发自由基缺陷。作为辐射损伤的基本过程,研究自由基产生和演化规律有助于揭示空间质子/电子综合辐射下聚合物材料损伤动力学过程和物理本质。本研究探索以辐射自由基量化表征和材料结构分析相结合的新方法,以空间用聚酰亚胺(PI)和表面氧化物改性PI材料为对象,通过研究在不同辐射条件下自由基缺陷的形成、演化动力学规律和热力学稳定性,揭示聚合物材料的辐射自由基形成的物理机制、自由基演化的热力学本质以及表面氧化物改性增强聚合物自由基损伤效应的物理机制,建立在不同辐射条件下材料自由基损伤等效模型。基于上述机理,通过材料光学性能和辐致电导原位测量分析,揭示不同辐射条件下材料光学和电性能退化动力学规律及本质,确定在综合辐射条件下材料性能退化地面模拟等效判据。该研究为聚合物材料辐射损伤理论研究和空间服役寿命预测探索新的途径。

英文摘要: Under charged particles irradiations, free radical defects could be firstly induced in polymers due to ionization and/or displacement effects. As a primary behavior of the irradiated damage processes in the materials, the studies on the formation and evolution models of the induced free radicals are essential to determine the dynamics and expose the damage mechanisms of polymers under the combined irradiations with electrons and protons in space. In this study, a newly proposed method will be explored through combination of the quantitative characterizations of free radicals with structural analysis to study the damage behaviors of the irradiated materials. Hence, the space-applied polyimide (PI) and the surface modified PI with oxides were selected as representative objects to be investigated the formation, evolution dynamics and thermodynamical stability of the irradiation-induced free radicals. Then one can expose the mechanisms on the formation and evolution of the irradiation-induced free radicals, and on the surface-oxide-film enhanced damage effects in PI. Afterward, equivalent damage models could be established on the induced free radical behaviors in polymers under various irradiation conditions.
