中文摘要: 为了降低编码复杂度,使高质量视频编码协议能够更好地为无线网络中进行视频通信的移动终端进行服务,高质量低复杂度图像编码协议方面的研究迫在眉睫。本项目旨在保证原有编码质量的前提下提出基于能量分布的快速图像编码模式判决的核心算法,从而建立低复杂度视频编码协议。研究从现有的高质量视频编码协议入手,对其各个编码模块的优缺点进行分析及评价,根据分析结果对编码协议进行整体改进从而建立更加优化的编码协议框架。本项目重点研究部分是对视频信号的宏块能量分布进行信息提炼,对空域及频域下的宏块局部区域的能量分布同宏块最佳模式之间的关系进行分析及匹配,建立规则及不规则形状分割模型下高效快速的模式判决方法的数学模型,在保证编码性能的前提下大幅度降低原有协议中模式判决所带来的计算冗余部分,从而加快编码速度,同时减低硬件能耗提高使用周期,具有重要的理论价值和良好的应用前景。

英文摘要: To reduce the coding complexity and let the high-quality video coding standard be well used by the mobile devices under wireless network enveriments, the research on high-quality with low-complexity video coding standard is very necessary. The target of this project is to propose a high-efficent and high-speed video mode decision algorithm basing on the energy distribution theroy, which could establish low-complexity video coding standard while maintaining the coding quality. We starts from the research on the current high-quality video coding standard. The advantages and shortcomings of each coding tools are analyzed, and the entire optimistic flowchart for video coding standard is proposed based on the results of the analysis. The keypoint of this project is to abstract the energy information from the macroblock of the video frame. The relationship between the potimal mode of the macroblock and the space/frequency energy of the coresponding region is analyzed and mapped to establish the high-efficient and fast mode decision model. With our research, the computational complexity of the mode decision is reduced significantly so that the encoding time and energy consumption are reduced while the coding quality is maintained.
