中文摘要: 性能是web服务组合成功的关键。影响web服务组合性能的"内因"是web服务组合的逻辑复杂性,"外因"是互联网的开放动态性和web服务器负载的不可预测性。这些内外因导致我们面临建模web服务组合在互联网环境下实际性能的挑战。广义Petri网、排队Petri网、Markov过程和随机进程代数不能同时综合建模"内因"和"外因"对web服务组合性能的影响。本项目把影响web服务组合性能的"内因"和"外因"映射到排队网络,建模web服务组合性能在排队网络中的性能映像,该性能映像反映了web服务组合在互联网环境下的实际性能。通过性能映像和排队网络的理论,建立web服务组合性能评价指标体系及其计算算法,并在各种"内因"和"外因"发生变化时,全面分析web服务组合在互联网环境下的实际性能。利用最优化方法,在满足web服务组合响应时间和吞吐率的约束条件下,实施web服务组合容量规划,使其总费最少。

英文摘要: Performance is the key to the success of web service compositions. The internal factors affecting the performance of web service compositions are the logical complexity of web service compositions. The external factors affecting the performance of web service compositions are the open dynamic nature of the Internet and the unpredictability of web servers' loading. These internal and external factors lead us to face the challenge to model the actual performance of web service compositions in the Internet environment. Generalized Petri nets, queueing Petri nets, Markov process and stochastic process algebra can not model the internal and external factors impacting on the performance of web service compositions at the same time. This project map the internal and external factors affetcing the performance of web service compositions to the queueing networks and obtain the performance images of web service compositions in the queueing networks. The performance images reflect the actual performance of web service compositions in the Internet environment. By the queueing network theory, the performance indexs measuring the web service compositions are established and the algorithms for calculating the performance indexs are designed.
