中文摘要: 内嵌金属富勒烯分子具有稳定的结构和新奇的电子特性,是一类重要的多功能分子材料。本项目结合本研究组在富勒烯和内嵌金属富勒烯研究方面的优势,将研究重点放在单金属内嵌富勒烯分子功能材料的制备与应用的基础科学问题上。对比其它金属富勒烯,单金属内嵌富勒烯具有结构简单、产率高等优点,我们拟通过系统地改变金属富勒烯生产的实验条件如氦气压力、温度、金属/碳比例,以及催化剂组合等,结合有关金属富勒烯形成和结构相关的理论研究,探索单金属内嵌富勒烯的形成机理,选择性地提高单金属富勒烯的产率。进一步针对Sc@C82,Gd@C82等典型单金属内嵌富勒烯,探索其化学修饰方法,研究其在有机太阳能电池、核磁共振造影剂,及分子陀螺等方面的应用。预期通过本项目的实施,带动富勒烯类纳米材料制备达到国际先进水平,并得到2-5种可应用于有机太阳能电池和磁共振造影剂的高效富勒烯类功能分子材料

英文摘要: Endohedral metallofullerenes are important functional nanomaterials with high stability and novel electronic properties.This proposal will focus on the syntheses and applications of mono-metallic endohedral fullerenes based on our previous profound research backgrounds on fullerenes and metallofullerenes.Comparing with other types of endohedral metallofullerenes such as dimetallic endohedral fullerenes and cluster endohedral metallofullerenes etc., the mono-metallic endohedral fullerenes ususally own high yield and simplicity in structures, so we may easily explore the formation mechanism of endohedral fullerenes through adjusting experimental conditions such as the helium pressure, temperature, the metal to carbon ratio, as well as different catalysts etc.. Through combining with theoretical calculations, we hope to selectively improve the yield of endohedral metallofullerenes. Moreover, we will explore the chemical modifications of some typical mono-metallic endohedral fullerenes such as Sc@C82 and Gd@C82, and make applications of them in solar cells, MRI contrast agents, and molecular gyroscope etc.. With the execution of this project it is expected to achieve world level in the macroscopic preparation of metallofullerenes, and obtain 2-5 novel metallofullerene functional materials for applications using in organic solar cells, MRI contrast agents etc..
