中文摘要: 本项目是通过化学压力作用和价态调控的方法,改变双钙钛矿金属氧化物中BO6八面体的Jahn-Teller晶格畸变和联接方式,以制备出新颖的包含复杂价态和奇异价态的功能双钙钛矿氧化物为基础,开展对宏观量子态和电性质研究。利用X-射线衍射技术、扫描/透射电镜及同步辐射等方法研究新型双钙钛矿结构氧化物的基本晶体结构以及微结构中存在的相变、调制结构、结构缺陷、有序无序分布等科学问题。利用综合物理性质测试系统、超导量子干涉磁性测量系统、介电测试系统等对化合物进行综合的宏观物理性质表征,研究化合物在变温和变磁场环境下化合物的磁性、比热、电性和输运性质。进一步研究双钙钛矿结构中的自旋密度波、电荷密度波、磁有序等量子态之间的共存和竞争作用和这些宏观量子态对电性的影响,关注化合物中存在的与高温超导电性相关的量子效应。探索新的超导材料和新的量子作用机制。为新型功能材料的开发提供研究基础。

英文摘要: The aim of this investigation is to develop new type mixed-valence & novel-valence double perovskite transition metal oxides with macroscopic quantum phenomena. In the compounds the Jahn-Teller distortion and connection of BO6 octahedron can be adjusted via chemical pressure and valence adjustment, which are important factors influencing the electrical properties and macroscopic quantum states. X-ray diffraction technique, SEM/TEM, EXAFS, etc. will be used to characterize the crystal structure, phase transition, modulated structure, structural imperfection and order-disorder distribution。PPMS, SQUIDS, Agilent Precision LCR Meter, etc will be used to characterize the physical properties (specific heat, permittivity, magnetic, electrical and transport properties) under variable temperature and magnetic field. The scientific impact of this work will contribute to a fundamental understanding of quantum effect in superconductor and related systems, including aspects of coexistence and competition of CDW, SDW, superconductivity, and ferro/antiferromagnetism. Furthermore, the discovery of new members of superconductor with double perovskite structure represents an additional exciting advance.
