PacificVis is a unified visualization symposium, welcoming all areas of visualization research such as: information visualization, scientific visualization, graph and network visualization, visual analytics, and specific applications such as (but not limited to) security-, software- and bio-visualization. Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research and application papers in all areas of visualization. We encourage papers in any new, novel, and exciting research area that pertains to visualization. All submitted papers will go through a two-stage review process to guarantee the publication of high-quality papers. All papers accepted by IEEE Pacific Visualization 2019 will be published by IEEE and will be also included in the IEEE Digital Library. Selected papers will be published directly in IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (TVCG).
The purpose of the conference brand is to raise international awareness of developments, teaching, training, responsibilities, and ethics in the field of IT security and digital forensics.
Qualified industry professionals are invited to submit their session proposal to be considered as a speaker for the California edition of Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference 2019. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts that are relevant, current, and reflect a learning objective from any of the following primary session tracks:

The e-Society 2019 conference aims to address the main issues of concern within the Information Society. This conference covers both the technical as well as the non-technical aspects of the Information Society. Broad areas of interest are e-Government / e-Governance, e-Business / e-Commerce, Technology and Society, e-Learning, New Media and E-Society, e-Health, Information Systems, and Information Management. These broad areas are divided into more detailed areas.
Tasks (i.e., defined pieces of work, ranging in scope from specific (e.g., sending an email) to broad (e.g., planning a wedding)) are central to all aspects of information access and use. Task intelligence spans technologies and experiences to extract, understand, and support the completion of short- and long-term tasks. Helping people complete tasks is a key capability of search systems, digital assistants, and productivity applications. Extracting tasks from data is a core challenge in data mining and knowledge representation and draws on additional research from areas such as ubiquitous computing, machine learning and natural language processing. Attributes of tasks, such as priority, duration, and progress toward completion, can also be inferred from data and have value in productivity applications and beyond.
The workshop will comprise a mixture of research paper presentations, a data challenge, panels and/or keynotes, and workshop-wide discussions on task intelligence.
