中文摘要: 本课题针对无线宽带移动网络数据流量快速增长和用户QoE保障需求间的潜在矛盾提出了一种基于时频资源转换的全新解决方法。提出把硬件性能不断提升后通信的使用者"人"的行为作为网络优化的一个因素考虑进来- - 在无线资源分配时,通过时频资源转换以制造"人工频谱空洞"的方式来减少对用户体验不起作用的连接所占用的频谱资源,以此帮助网络在不降低现有用户QoE的情况下更加高效地吸收更多的数据流量。围绕时频资源转换,本课题主要研究以下四项关键技术:时频资源转换中的风险、效率和公平性折中问题、基于负载预测信息的时频资源转换优化方案、针对时频资源转换的传输层协议适变优化方案,以及基于时频资源转换的接入控制和邻小区同频干扰抑制。课题的探索和结果一方面将为无线宽带移动网络的资源优化和用户体验保障提供新的研究思想和设计方法,另一方面也将为该技术未来可能的实用化发展提供理论指导。

英文摘要: Aiming at addressing the difficulty in provisioning satisfied quality-of-experience (QoE) to the users in a wireless broadband mobile network suffering from explosive increase of data traffic, in this proposal we propose to study a novel solution based on an approach named time-frequency resource conversion (TFRC). In this solution, we take into consideration the behavior of the communications' end user, human beings, when optimizing the network performance. In specific, when allocating the wireless resources, we decrease the spectrum resource of a connection serving an application which is not focused by its end user, by utilizing the proposed approach to generate the "artificial spectrum holes". Thanks to the newly proposed approach, the network is able to admit more data traffic without degrading the QoE of the existing wireless users. The proposed research will be directed at four thrusts: 1) the tradeoff problem among the per-user QoE risk, the efficiency of time-frequency resource conversion, and the fairness of QoE risk sharing when applying the proposed approach; 2) optimizing TFRC based on predictable traffic load; 3) adaptive and optimized design of the transport layer protocol suitable for TFRC technique; and 4) connection admission control for a network with TFRC and TFRC-based inter-cell interferenc
